To qualify for PACE, residents must be 55 and older, in need of nursing home-level care and able to safely receive community-based services in a home-based setting. Founded in 2004, Ohio’s Community Mercy Hospice is a service of Ohio’s Hospice of Dayton. The PACE program serves communities across six counties in Kentucky.

Through my volunteer work, I met people in my community and developed leadership skills.
