Initially, my father actually owned an assisted care facility, which he bought in 2006. He really wanted to create an environment in a place that he felt was suitable for his own mother, and so he had purchased an assisted living facility. He purchased that because my grandmother had dementia.

Started as a direct case manager, worked in a variety of different places including the state legislature and I’ve been with the state office now since 2006.
