Launched in 2017, the hospice company serves predominantly rural-based populations in Montana, northern Wyoming and South Dakota. We also need to have expanded flexibilities that allow us to do hospice care in other ways. We have a medical director who flies to see hospice patients.

The Denver Hospice Appoints New Medical Director. The Denver Hospice recently tapped Dr. Robert Howe as its new medical director following the retirement of Dr. Shirlee Turner after 11 years of service at the company. Hiranandani earned his medical degree from St. ALC Hospice Care Names COO.

Previously, he was COO of Big Bend Hospice. Big Bend has also promoted its medical director, Dr. Deborah Morris, to chief medical officer of Seven Oaks. Wood joined Big Bend Hospice in 2017 as a consultant, later becoming CFO and ultimately the COO.

Lovell, along with Stephanie Harbour, executive director at Tapestry Hospice, and other hospice management staff Ben Harbour and registered nurse Andrew Nall, allegedly entered into kickback arrangements with medical directors of other health care organizations in exchange for hospice referrals.

Hospice of the Chesapeake Appoints New CMO Maryland-based Hospice of the Chesapeake recently named Dr. Marny Fetzer as its new chief medical officer. Fetzer is currently system medical director for palliative care and hospice services at Illinois-based Ascension Health.

As a nurse practitioner, what led you to begin a hospice program? I became a registered nurse in 2012 and received my nurse practitioner degree in 2017. I practiced in men’s and women’s health before deciding to start Blue Monarch Hospice. It’s just a matter of time before the need for hospice rises.

Adoray Home Health & Hospice Announces Interim CEO Wisconsin-based Adoray Home Health & Hospice has named Mary Aaby as its new interim CEO. Aaby previously served as CFO from 1998 to 2017 at the hospice, home health and palliative care organization. She will step into the role this June.
