Since then, expiration dates for that flexibility have been extended several times. Most recently, Congress moved the end date to March 31. It was previously set to terminate on Dec.

If enacted, the Enhancing Hospice Oversight and Transparency Act also would increase the penalty for hospices that do not report quality measure data to 10% by 2027, up from 4% currently. NAHC and NHPCO have since combined into the National Alliance for Care at Home.
