My past boss, Seth Landefeld, wrote a Seminole paper on this back in 1996 in the New England Journal, showing that ACE units improved things like ADLs at discharge, discharged to long-term institutions. So before we get into that, ACE units have been around for over 25 years. So there was lots of permutations of how people did rounds.
