HGA is very fortunate to have Jame on our team Established in 1987, Hospice of Gladwin Area provides services at no cost to patients and their caregivers. The nonprofit offers hospice, respite services, spiritual and bereavement support, as well as assistance with housekeeping, medical equipment and other supplies.
Mark Marjala is a proven leader who we are excited to bring on board to support and grow the best hospice caregiving team in the industry. Goodwin also has a memory care program and provides personal services to help seniors age in place, such as assistance with care coordination, home repairs and housekeeping.
Still another type of care referred to as respite care is available to relieve caregiver breakdown. The CNA will assist with activities of daily living, light housekeeping, and transporting to errands or appointments. Hospice care includes comprehensive grief and bereavement support services for patients and their families.
Family members describe this caregiver role as fulfilling, rewarding, and an important part of the process.
