The organization is an affiliate of the HomeCare and Hospice Association of Colorado, a group of nonprofit providers that care for patients and families across 64 counties in the state. Thorne was most recently the regional vice president of health care at Virginia-based Volunteers of America.
The four levels of hospicecare are: Routine homecare: routine care is the basic regular hospicecare that could be provided by home or a hospice facility. This includes all services a hospicecare has such as, bereavement and spiritual support, medication, and more.
Additionally, we’ll address prevalent misconceptions about hospice services and provide guidance on selecting the right provider. Armed with knowledge, individuals and their loved ones can make informed decisions, ensuring dignity, support, and well-being during the final stages of life.
