This was actually a bereaved person, and they said that because their person had planted those tulips it reminded them constantly of them. And secondly, nurses are best at doing nursing, and social workers are best at doing social work. We had somebody else post a really interesting picture of a tree with blooming tulips.

What the social workers are … Eric: Yeah. Beth: From a hospice standpoint, we obviously have the nursing support, social work chaplaincy. With Goodwin Hospice patients, not as much because they have that support from the bereavement group at Goodwin Hospice. We have volunteers, we have CNAs.

We do have access to palliative care social work in the outpatient setting, and we have a nurse. And then we also didn’t give them access to palliative care social work on the stepdarmouse. And this is where I think qualitative data from caregiver bereaved caregivers would be super useful.
