Agape Care Group Acquires Crossroads Hospice Locations in 4 States

South Carolina-based Agape Care Group has acquired several Crossroads Hospice locations in four states. Agape, a portfolio company of the private equity firm Ridgemont Equity Partners, purchased sites in Oklahoma, Missouri, Kansas and Georgia for an undisclosed amount. Hospice, Home-Based Care Employees Report Feeling Unsafe at Work

Many home-based care workers often feel unsafe in their jobs, having a direct impact on hospice recruitment and retention. More than 50% of 400 home-based care employees said they had experienced or witnessed at least one instance of workplace violence or harassment in a recent report from Transcend Strategy Group. About 20% indicated that they had experienced or witnessed at least seven such incidents, the research found.

Heart to Heart Hospice Expands Footprint in Oklahoma
