Safeguarding training has always underpinned health and social care practices and has been mandatory for those working with at risk people in all health, care, and education environments 1.
As of February 2024, 88% of nurse practitioners are certified in primary care, and 70.3% deliver primary care every day. A substantial number of nurse and family nurse practitioners fall within this category. Family nurse practitioners have a significant role in the delivery of healthcare. This week, I stopped playing Wordle, which I loved playing. But playing Wordle meant I also played Connections, Strands, Keyword and Frame by Forbes. Playing these games also meant I felt the stress of having to win. So far, I don’t miss these games. I think I’ve found a better use of my time that doesn’t include adding unnecessary pressure to my day.
