Demographics are swelling demand for serious illness and end-of-life care in Alaska. in 2018, according to the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization (NHPCO). Alaska is among the 35 states with a certificate of need program currently in place, reported the National Conference of State Legislatures (NCSL).
