Crouch in 2016 became a homecare and assisted living facilities physician at the organization. He is responsible for strategic direction and oversight of medical services and staff at Treasure Coast Hospice, as well as ensuring regulatory compliance and evaluating patient eligibility for hospice services.
He was in his early 60s when I was born, and he suffered a stroke in 1989, which threw our family into the post-acute medical care space and encouraged me to take on a caregiving role. We struggled in the homecare setting due to his morbidity and illness, and that is something I experienced on a very intimate level.
These tasks include creating patientcare plans, administering medications, and performing diagnostic tests. They play a key role in coordinating patientcare and may specialize in areas like geriatrics or palliative care.
