The temporary telemedicine rules allowed hospices and other health care providers to prescribe controlled substances via telemedicine such as ketamine, cannabis, MDMA and psychedelics such as LSD and psilocybin, among other drugs. But it’s more likely at this point that this will continue to get kicked down the road again at the end of 2025.
